Privacy policy
KX Loop uses learning activity to run the product, remember progress and improve which cards and reviews appear next.
Information we collect
We record learning events such as cards shown, answers, correctness, response time, lesson progress, topics, course and concept identifiers, ranking diagnostics and where an action began. We use these records to provide progress, recall scheduling, personalisation, quality monitoring and product analytics.
Sessions and device storage
We set an httpOnly session cookie and keep a matching anonymous session identifier in localStorage. KX Loop also stores kxloop. keys for language, theme, reading preferences, progress, streaks, saved cards, generation state, prompts and installation state. A sidebar_state preference cookie may also be set.
Accounts, email and notifications
If you sign in, Supabase Auth stores your email address and authentication records. Google receives and supplies account information when you choose Google sign-in. If you enable review reminders, we store the browser push endpoint and encryption keys needed to deliver them.
Service providers
Supabase provides data storage and authentication. Anthropic processes course prompts and learning content to generate courses and grade written answers. Google provides optional sign-in. Browser push services deliver notifications.
Retention and deletion
Learning and account data is retained while your account or anonymous session remains active. Exact retention periods: [OWNER TO COMPLETE]. Signed-in learners can delete their account and associated personal data from You, Account, Delete my data. Public shared courses may remain after being anonymised.
